Copa Del rey Final overview
Athletic club won their 24th Copa del ray Title after beating Mallorca in the final.
A very good game was witnessed between the two teams. In the 21st minute of the match, Mallorca player D.Rodríguez scored a goal and gave his team the lead. The Mallorca team had a one-zero lead till half-time.
At the beginning of the second half, the Athletc Club player scored a goal to level the match at one apiece. The Athletic club tried hard to score goals against the Mallorca, but the Mallorca team rejected all the efforts.
At the end of the match, the score was tied with one goal each.
In extra time, both teams tried hard to score against each other but failed.
Penalties Shootout:
After the goal was tied in extra time, the decision went to penalties.And in penalties, Athletic Club won the title by defeating Mallorca by four goals to the two.
